GPL Compliance for Software Developers
Offers for source code
Offers for source code
The GPL allows you to offer source code by mail, rather than provide it with binaries
Don't do that
It makes more work for you
You are likely to get bogus complaints of GPL violations
Future versions of your manual will get out-of-date because:
you stop distributing GPL software
you move to a different address
you start including source code directly
You have to store every version of every GPL program you ever distribute
