Offers for source code

• The GPL allows you to offer source code by mail, rather than provide it with binaries
  
• Don't do that
  
• It makes more work for you
  
• You are likely to get bogus complaints of GPL violations
  
• Future versions of your manual will get out-of-date because:
  
  • you stop distributing GPL software
    
  • you move to a different address
    
  • you start including source code directly
    
• You have to store every version of every GPL program you ever distribute
