• New BSD License
  • Popularized by University of California at Berkeley
  • Older versions required advertisements to contain acknowledgements
• X11 License
  • Used by the X Windowing System
• Apache License
  • Like new BSD license, but with certain restrictions on naming
  • Not compatible with GPL
