Many programs include non-code data
User interface definition files (.glade)
Icons (.png)
Maps, sprites, and textures (.map, .bsp, .pcx, ...)
Generally, these are their own source code
Exceptions:
Quake maps are converted from an editable form to a runnable form
Some images are stored as layered forms, but distributed flattened
If you have the layered form, that's the source code
If the flattened form is still user-editable, it's source code too
